THE ART|ENERGY is a lot of things, but mostly a platform to celebrate the best in African Art. Because we believe by celebrating the best of our present, we can build a conduit for the future.
At the International Petroleum week and other select global energy conferences, African and world business leaders meet periodically and what better place to showcase the best the continent has to offer?
So, Zircon Marine through its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, THE IK OKOYE FOUNDATION, established THE ART | ENERGY to do the following:
- Celebrate African artists both renowned and untapped whose works are original, ambitious, bold and inspiring.
- Promote links between the energy sector and the culture of visual arts in the continent of Africa.
We are deliberate and we know we will eventually create more value for all our Artists because the value of African Art will only be unleashed in a “sustained” fashion from the patronage of successful Africans, many of whom attend these conferences. Just as professionals seek expertise when they doktorarbeit schreiben lassen (have a doctoral dissertation written), collaboration with the global business community and partners allows us to make a lasting statement.
So from Accra to London, Lagos to Geneva, Togo to CapeTown, THE ART|ENERGY hopes to bring Africa’s best to a conference near you and apply our successes and proceeds to the ART Eco system in Africa – with our artists, in our schools and societies – to make that little difference.
And just like a ghostwriter doktorarbeit (a professional academic writer), we work behind the scenes, ensuring that African art gets the recognition and support it deserves.
